Food Bank

HARVEST Food Bank

HARVEST is our free weekly food distribution program serving families, individuals, and seniors in the Powder Springs area. Operating on a no-barrier model, no income verification, no documentation required. HARVEST provides nutritious food boxes including pantry staples, protein sources, fresh produce when available, and personal care items.

Schedule: Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Year 1 Goal: Serve 30-50 families per month

ROOTS After-School homework help
After-School

ROOTS After-School Program

ROOTS is a free, Monday through Friday after-school program for children ages 5-12. ROOTS provides supervised homework assistance, a healthy daily snack, social-emotional learning activities, and integration with our art and music programs.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 - 6:00 PM

Year 1 Goal: Enroll 25-40 children

Creative Arts

Free Art Classes

Weekly classes in drawing, painting, and mixed media for participants of all ages and backgrounds. Art materials are provided at no cost. Classes are facilitated in a judgment-free, encouraging environment designed to build creative confidence and self-expression.

Schedule: Thursday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (youth) | Saturdays 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM (all ages)

Year 1 Goal: 30+ participants per month

Free music lesson
Music Education

Free Music Lessons

Free introductory group lessons for children and adults, facilitated by volunteer music educators. Beginning with foundational instrument and vocal exploration, the program is designed to grow into individual instruction, ensemble opportunities, and community performances.

Schedule: Wednesdays 5-7:15 PM | 1st Saturday monthly (Community Jam)

Year 1 Goal: 2 group sessions per week
